Meet Our Speakers:
Jade Bothma (2020 Eco-Hero, South Africa) — Jade founded Oceano Reddentes ("the ocean revives"). She and her volunteers have removed over 8,000 pounds of waste from Cape Town beaches. Jade pioneers the use of recovered plastic to create "eco-bricks," utilizing them to build sustainable housing and facilities for those in need. oceanoreddentes.org
Cash Daniels (2022 Eco-Hero, USA) — Known as "The Conservation Kid," Tennessee-based Cash is the founder of Wild Earth Defenders. He has spent years leading massive river and beach cleanups, advocating for the protection of waterways that flow directly into our oceans and inspiring youth action worldwide. theconservationkid.com
Sean Russell (2009 Eco-Hero, USA) — Sean is a lifelong ocean advocate. He serves as the Director of Youth Engagement at EarthEcho International (GenSea) and is the Founder and Director of the Youth Ocean Conservation Summit, which empowers young people across the globe to launch their own marine conservation projects. yocs.org
Elijah Richardson (2024 Eco-Hero, Australia) — Elijah is a dedicated youth conservationist and an active ambassador for Coral Watch, Neuralfin Shark ID, and Tangaroa Blue.
