Welcome, Eco-Heroes! We are so proud of the incredible work you've done. As our family of young leaders grows, we want to bring you all together to share stories, connect with one another, and continue to make a lasting impact. We are excited to develop our Eco-Hero Alumni Network, and your input is invaluable in shaping what it will become.

Our Alumni Programs

Based on your feedback and our desire to support your continued professional and personal growth, we're launching two new programs designed to help you connect and grow as environmental leaders.

Alumni Mentoring Program

We are thrilled to launch a new mentoring program aimed at helping our younger Eco-Heroes take the next steps in their journeys. This is an exciting opportunity to receive one-on-one guidance from established leaders in the environmental field.

Who are the Mentees? This program will be offered to our youngest Eco-Hero winners, providing them with valuable support as they continue their work.

Who are the Mentors? We are actively pairing alumni with dedicated mentors from our network of Action For Nature board members, expert judges, and program partners. In the future, we hope to expand this network to include more external partners and organizations.

Program Overview The program will consist of 4-5 focused sessions over a period of 4-5 months, with the goal of helping you tangibly achieve your stated goals. To start, you'll be guided through a pre-coaching exercise to help you reflect on your goals and values before your first session.

Eco-Hero Connects & Webinars

Join us for our new bimonthly webinars designed to support your professional development and expand your network. These hour-long events are exclusive to our alumni community and will focus on specific topics like ecosystem restoration, environmental education, and more.

Each event will feature:

• Presentations by Experts: A brief talk by an outside professional in the field.

• Lightning Talks: Short, dynamic presentations by fellow Eco-Heroes showcasing the core of their work.

• Eco-Hero Connects: A chance to meet other alumni as you're randomly paired up in virtual breakout rooms to network and share ideas.

To make sure everyone can participate, we'll be rotating the times for these sessions to accommodate all time zones.
