Action For Nature’s International Young Eco-Hero Awards is the premier global program recognizing youth (ages 8–16) who are driving real, measurable environmental change.

Action For Nature Alliances

  • WE SAVE THE WORLD

    We Save The World provides an easy-to-use platform that enables youth to create fundraising missions, share their stories, and raise funds directly for environmental causes worldwide, such as saving animals or protecting habitats. This collaboration provides a valuable, shared resource for youth looking to finance their impactful nature projects.

  • Founded by Eco-Hero Alumna and AFN Board Member, Shreya Ramachandran, The Grey Water Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting safe water conservation and the reuse of grey water. This is achieved through community outreach, policy advocacy, and the development of educational curricula, influencing over 50,000 people globally.

  • San Francisco-based organization dedicated to fostering a curiosity about science and nature through hands-on, outdoor educational programs. Tree Frog Treks (TFT) offers camps, classes, and enrichment programs where kids explore nature, engage in science, and meet rescued reptile and amphibian "Animal Ambassadors." TFT's Director, Chris, is a valued member of the AFN Board.
